Hook
- 2-18, 2x long nymph hook

- Soft hackle feathers

- Soft hackle fibers (beard style)
Directions:
Using pliers, bend down the hook shaft about an 1/8 of an inch from the eye.
Wind lead on the shank up to where you bent it. Secure with thread and varnish.
Dub a body over the lead wire.
Tie in a soft hackle at the bend and wind on. Each turn should be close to the previous one. Tie off and clip the end.
Repeat the previous step untip the shaft is covered up to where it was bent. Leave room for a head.
Trim the hackle to desired shape and size.
Using soft hen hackle, tie in a throat.
Dub a head of yellow or light green and whip finish.
