Stocking 2017

On Saturday May 27, members met in  McConnellsville to stock approximately 30,000 Atlantic salmon that the club had raised from eggs.  The club stocked 3 locations on Furnace Creek, 4 locations on the West Branch of Fish Creek and 2 locations near Taberg on the East Branch of Fish Creek.  Salmon were also placed in Point Rock Creek and in the East Branch at Swancotts Mills.

The club was lucky to pick a day free of rain.  River level was almost 500 cubic feet per second, four days later the flow was nearly 4000 cu ft/sec because of rain.
